I’m not exactly sure what to write about this. My first thought was to divulge some recent story about a conversation with a friend — such a conversation did happen — but… The quote speaks for itself somewhat.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen it before. I make the mistake of thinking most people know the quotes I’ve only recently found and been excited by. But I’ve found not many people actively seek out quotes.

Here’s a good quote if you’re feeling sad:

Remember: the time you feel lonely is the time you most need to be by yourself. Life’s cruelest irony.

Douglas Coupland

Quotes can give you strength in this way — re-framing your thought.

Loneliness isn’t punishing, it’s strengthening, necessary, and it can be beautiful.
